Standardized Tests

Standardized Examination Requirement:
You should complete an application for the Graduate Record Examination (GRE), take the test, and have results sent to this office.  GRE scores will need two codes to specify sending to MU: “U of Missouri Columbia” (Institution Code 6875) and Veterinary Medicine” (Department Code 0617).  For the 2015-2016 application, results from only the old MCAT (one taken prior to spring 2015) will be accepted. Only results received in our office by February 1, 2016 from the GRE or MCAT and attained within the last three years, will used in calculating academic evaluations.

Minimum requirements:
Current GRE General Test minimum qualifying score is 285. This score is obtained by adding the scores of the verbal and quantitative sections of the test.  In addition, a minimum score of 1.5 on the analytical portion of the test.  

MCAT: composite score of 15 on old MCAT.
