Prospective Students

Standardized Tests

Standardized Examination Requirement:
Applicants must submit results from the GRE General Test or the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) to the College of Veterinary Medicine on or before February 1, 2013. Applicants must have taken the test on or after January 1, 2010.

Minimum requirements:
Current GRE General Test minimum qualifying score is 285. GRE’s taken January 2010 through July, 2012 minimum score of 640 required.  This score is obtained by adding the scores of the verbal and quantitative sections of the test.  In addition, a minimum score of 1.5 on the analytical portion of the test.  

MCAT: composite score of 15
