The committee is responsible for evaluating promotion requests for NTT faculty that have reached the college level from each department. They will follow the procedures and mandates outlined by the University of Missouri and the Dean when evaluating faculty members.

Committee makeup: Six, full-time faculty members, one NTT and one TT faculty from each of the three departments. Members of departmental promotion and tenure committees are not eligible for this committee. Members of the committee shall be elected for a three year term by the General Faculty of the CVM. Each Department shall nominate four members from their faculty, (two NTT and two TT) one of each will be elected by the general faculty to represent the department. Individuals placing second in the voting will serve as the alternate member.
